The best way to avoid computer viruses is not to connect your computer to the internet.
Once you connect your computer to the internet,
the percentage of the risk that computer viruses infect your computer is at least more than zero.
On the other hand, unless you connect your computer to the internet,
the percentage of the risk that computer viruses infect your computer is perfectly zero.
"Zero" and "more than zero" are completely different.
"Zero" means that a risk doesn't occur at all.
"More than zero" means that a risk may occur.
Taking countermeasures against a potential risk is not the best way.
A risk's not existing from the beginning is the best way.
A man with a risk of failure as little as at 1% will always fail.
At least I have lived in that way.

コンピューター・ウイルスを避ける一番の方法は、コンピューターをインターネットに接続しないことなのです。
一旦コンピューターをインターネットに接続すれば、
コンピューター・ウイルスがコンピューターに入り込むリスクの可能性は、少なくとも0以上になります。
一方、コンピューターをインターネットに接続しなけば、
コンピューター・ウイルスがコンピューターに入り込むリスクの可能性は、完全に0になります。
「0」と「0以上」は完全に異なるのです。
「0」とは、リスクは決して発生しないことを意味します。
「0以上」とは、リスクは起こるかもしれないということを意味します。
将来発生し得るリスクへの対抗策を講じることは最善の方法ではありません。
はじめからリスクがないことが最善の方法なのです。
失敗する可能性が1％でもある者は必ず失敗します。
少なくとも私はそのように生きてきました。
