分かったもういい、デュポンの取締役会にはもう頼まん。
株主に直接訴える。

と言わねばならないのかなと思っているところです。
まあどうなるのか分からないのですが、私としましては、全面的にデュポンの株主の判断に身を委ねようと考えているところです。
なお、現在私が保有しているデュポン株式は0株であります。

以下、デュポン株主様への手紙を書きました。
敵対的な印象をどうしても相手に与えてしまう委任状争奪戦を行う気はありません。
株主様一人一人の議決権判断に全てをお任せします。

Dear All Shareholders,

I am writing in reference to the election of the directors at the coming annual meeting.
　　
I am a management consultant and have worked as President at Instuite for Management and Accounting and Japan.

As shown in the attached resume, my academic training and a lot of various consulting experiences
on corporate strategy and accounting have enabled me to serve as Chief Financial Officer at DuPont.
I am confident that I can readily apply my computing, mathematics and language skills,
of course as well as business administration and accounting skills,

デュポン株主様には、一度「株式の価値とは何か」という原点に立ち返り、誠実に次期取締役の選任を行っていただきたいと思います。
何卒、一時の感情や同情にとらわれることなく、株主様の良識によってデュポンにふさわしい後任取締役を選任されるよう、
切にお願いする次第です。

今回の株主総会は、2年前に引き続きこれまでにないバカげた白熱ぶりゆえ、妙な委任状争奪戦が横行せぬよう、
各氏襟を正して議決権行使に望んでいただきたいと思います。

私はデュポン株主様を信じております。
長年デュポンで経営コンサルティング業務を行ってきた私が取締役に選任されないはずがございません。
しかし万一デュポン株主様が私を取締役に推せない状況になった時は、
本格的に農業をやろうかなと思っております。

SUPPLEMENT

I would like DuPont's shareholders to return once to the very basic principle "What is the value of stock?"
and to elect the next directors in good faith.
I would be really glad of your fair judgement that the shareholders must elect the incoming directors best suitable for DuPont
by the shareholders' good sense without being swayed by temporary emotion nor sympathy.

The next Annual Meeting is too heated extraordinarily just in the same way as the one two year ago,
and it is feared that the doubtful proxy fight will or does happen,
so I would like you all to vote with respectful attention.

I believe in DuPont's shareholders.
It is impossible that I will not be elected as director because I have been providing various management consulting services
for DuPont for a long time.
But in case DuPont's shareholders don't elect me as director at the worst,
I am inclined to begin a farm for real.
